I've known you forever,
since the very day of my birth.
Now we're no longer together,
you're buried six feet under earth.
I can only try to write a letter
even though it can't be sent.
I'd give anything to tell you
exactly what your presence meant.
I just wanted to say thank you
for being a huge part of my life,
Being able to know you
was worth all of the hard times.
I took things for granted,
I want you to know I care

how much you were always there.
I looked up to you so much
and to this day, know I still do.
