Description An experiment in tiny needle felting, which I am bad at. This is as small as I can get without going (truly) insane. He is about 1.5 inches long not including his tail and about 2 inches tall.

Made out of needle felted wool. He has a pipe cleaner skeleton so he can be posed. The shell is a garden snail shell I found abandoned in my yard, which I then cleaned and painted. The eyes are beads.

I'm thinking about giving some of these away as prizes for something secret...

Oh I love the green one's colour. I adore that shade, it is so pretty. I love the size idea too, little tiny things are very fun especially since it is still poseable. It could be friends with my tiny ductape cat maybe. The painted shell is just lovely too. I cannot wait to see if you make more of these little guys for a contest too!!

I like the green color too. You can sort of see how I layered different kinds of green on top of each other to get the end result. The tiny things are irresistible to me, but so hard to make! Ductape cat? I don't know that I've had the pleasure of knowing such a creature. Could I see a pic?

I was thinking of making a number of them, all different colors. I'm still brainstorming ideas for a contest. Would you be interested in helping me with it, if I come up with a good idea? Like being a judge or something?
