It was indeed a very very hard time for both of them after the accident with the love potion and all the stress cause of Black. :/ And then his unfair allegations against her... yeah it was just a question of time til Emi strikes back and then with the, for him, most sensitive point, at his moment :S And at the same moment Emi forgot that Severus didn't know about all her "new" knowledge about his life/duty. And yes to call Lilys name was a step to far in a moment where his nerves already were weak... he forgot himself and threatens in his lack of mind things he would never dare to do... but well well...
