I wonder who wore this mask. Whoever it was, was very much like me, a denizen of the desert, a traveler. But he could have been very different... did he have a home? A family? Did he travel with a group? What in this vast desert ended his life? The heat? Lack of food and water? Bandits? Monsters? Did he simply lose the will to go on traveling?
I heard a sound... I should keep moving. Rest in peace fellow traveler of these wastes. May the land hold you tightly.
