Okay, so my rabbit Tapi has this thing for chomping on wires and stuff. I really try to keep everything away from him when he gets free time. My room is rabbit proof but we have carpet in our rooms and my parents think he'll pee on the carpets.
So he has to make do with our living room. But that's where our computers are (we're not allowed to have computers in our room cuz we might play games all day long) and our TV. He chewed through two of the TV wires already, luckily we were able to fix it. I can put cardboard display boards around the TV wires (and I do). But our computer wires are under a table and I cant' do that.
So my sister listens to music by plugging her ear plugs into the desktop
Which is on the ground, at rabbit level. And what does Tapi do? Comes right over and chomps on the wires, snipping it in two. Luckily, she got replacement headphones.
And then, of course, he had to come over and chomp on it. I was fixing the headphones then plugged it in to see if it was fixed when he came over, looked me in the eye, then chomped on it again, snipping it half again.
My sister was not amused.
It's amazing that he can cut wires in half in one bite without being electrocuted or anything. But he's a jerk for thinking he's a secret agent on a mission to cut the wire on a 'bomb'. I'll try putting hot sauce on it or something. If you have any suggestions of how to get him to stop chewing stuff, then I'm all ears.

BUT before you yell at me for not taking care of him properly, stop it. I try to keep him away but I'm not allowed to tell my siblings what to do. I warned them but if they don't listen and close their bedroom doors or hide their electronics, I'm not responsible for any peed on carpets, chewed up wires, ect. I do try to keep an eye on him when he's outside his cage though. And about that blue. It's a collar. It has a bell and a dog tag with our info on it. I only put it on when he's outside his cage so we can keep track of where he is and if he gets out cuz my family leaves doors open, he has some information on him. It's not choking him and he doesn't mind.
