Because of two reasons:
1. if this is the swan song for Naruto than we need a final Naruto vs Sasuke battle  

2. Because Sasuke is kind of a douchebag.

Please we know at least Naruto makes it out alive because of the movie.  Also this is manga/anime they'll probably end with them lying on their backs, beaten worn out battled damaged and start laughing,; and Sakura & Kakashi will laugh, the freed tail-beasts will,; the people still trapped in their dream worlds will laugh; and Ill die a little more inside when everyone forgives Sasuke yet again for being an evil douche. And when he's by himself will get an  to set him up for possibly the movie villain or something similar.
