Delirium, youngest of the Endless, and her realm, from Neil Gaiman's Sandman.Delirium is always fun to draw because you can do so much with her appearance. In this picture I chose some attributes that I haven't seen before, or at least not often, like the hairstyle.
I started painting yesterday. Not sure how much time that went into it, but I'm happy with how it turned out!
Seems I always start these slightly more ambitious projects when I have lots of more important things to do...

Hehe, the fun thing about Delerium is that she can take so many different forms, and is so shifting in her looks, so I could probably make ten different versions of her. But I think this one works really well, and I'm happy with the way it turned out.

I love delirium she is my faveorite and you did a wonderful job with her especially with so many differnt versions and cocepts the details and the colors are wonderful and the back ground just follows up on the theme and is a mix of crazy and almost child fantasy overall wonderful work on this

It was very fun to look at the different aspects of the character and add little tributes to her parts in the comic. With the background I felt I had to find my inner child/craziness and it's pretty much spontaneously drawn in one swoop. Good times!
