I wanted to do Morrigan for ages, late to the party, but I guess some characters never get old.

I like to explore the characters and give them some story which is easy in Darkstalkers where Morrigan came from. Not so easy in Streetfighter. But for those interested in Beat 'em up, I have planned to do Felicia and Lei Lei and another Game I like is Guilty Gears - more wacky stuff coming this way

Can't say how often I revisited this piece because of the finishing touches, it took longer than expected.
With the look I achieved with my previous portrait painting, I finally got a working method to digitally create the old-painting and traditional look that I wanted.

Technically there are 3 apps involved, some patterns and many custom brushes as also the knowledge of working several hundred hours on classical artworks painted by traditional masters.
