Description
This is a photo of Angua (pronounced Ang-u-a), my African Fat-Tailed Gecko.In this photo she's less then 24 hours old!! You can still see, she's standing on top of her egg shell and there's another egg casing on the right hand side. You can see her sister in the top left corner. I won't be having both of these girls as I already have an Albino Fat-Tail on hold and so those are the two that will live together. Can't tell yet if she's going to be a banded or striped morph, only time can answer that one, but I'm happy with either.
She's currently with the breeder but will be coming home when she's about six weeks old or so.

She's definitely a cutie, and just as definitely going to be a banded. Here's a picture of a newborn striped, you can see over her head there's a slight hint of a stripe. [link]

Regardless, newborn fatties are just the cutest thing ever! I like the little spot of dark and light on Angua's hind leg, very interesting!

Hopefully this week, it's actually been up to us for a few weeks as we haven't gotten the shelf for the viv up yet. Been a hectic couple of weeks and just haven't had time, but planning to get it up tomorrow.
