MatPat (with what's left of his sanity) uploaded new FNaF vids and that sort of peek my interest again. I mean, we all remember when the fandom was being the usual toxic fandom of con siting of edgy preteens, focusing on the wrong things like and blaming that one teenager for making a popular AU. Yeah, those were the days.

I slowly left the fandom back in 2016, because i was getting tired of edgy 12 year olds who only care about the animatronics than the hidden/secret story/mystery behind the games, which is what made the series big in the first place. My interest peaked back when the SL and the books were being released. So i only take several small peaks into what the series has been doing recently.

A few days ago, i went back to read the (human) characters' roles in wikis and on tv tropes and i went to take an interest on Michael and Charlie, two very important characters in the series. Now, i get what made the fandom so toxic in the first place. They believe in the first theory they so toxic, and god forbid they went on a rampage whenever someone makes a comic for a story based on a different theory. Again, just like what happened to that one teenager on tumblr.

So, screw continuity. This is my non-canon fan story of these two characters. Also, spoilers because duh .

Charlie is canonically dead and the Charlie we follow in the books is actually a robot (didn't warn ya 'bout spoilers). And from what we learn in from the books and the games, Charlie is one of the first few victims William Afton (The Purple Guy) killed and that she went on to possess the puppet and placed the children's bodies on the animatronics and they also went possess with vengeance against the bastard that killed them. There is one big thing tho. Charlie and the Puppet are considered to be the same character, but in different continuities. Both are considered to be the same character is derived from the info that the Cassette Man is implied to be Henry, whose daughter (Charlie) was killed by William in the books while in the games, was also killed by William and went on to possess the puppet. So, in this story (which is more or less of a headcanon/AU/minor idea) Charlie and the Puppet one in the same, of a sorts. Puppet!Charlie's vengeful soul discovered her dad built her a robot to 'replace' her and she was like; "You son of a bitch. I'm in." And went on possess Robot!Charlie, because face it, who doesn't want a robot ghost in a FNaF fanfic? So, Charlie now combined with both memories of what she experienced in both death and artificial life, is now on the search to find and destroy William, who what's left of FNaF fans know is somehow still out there even if he is stuck in the limbo that is UCN.

Now, Michael is another crucial character in the series. Mostly because of the high possibility that we have been playing as him the whole series, except maybe FNaF4, because of a recent theory that he might've been the child who got Phineas Gaged, oh and also ULC because the obvious. Now, i'd actually liked the theory that he's the brother responsible for the child's death and went on to try to atone for what he has done, even if he gets turned into a walking fursuit in the process. Again, if you 2015 FNaF are complainin', may i remind you this is a fan story/AU that happens to be not canon. So, yeah, i'd like my redemption arc that takes place in decades. So, Michael is obviously a walking hollowed corpse who is unable to die. So, he finds a way to make himself look human with the help of his father's and Henry's old blue prints of making a humanoid robot, and uses a spare human suit.

Charlie and Michael met, Charlie's like; "Your dad sucks ass, let's kill him so we can be at peace or something". And Michael's like, "Eh sure, but i have questions i need to ask". So, the two went on some shenanigans, destroying evil animatronics created by William, recruiting the good possessed animatronics while trying to avoid a detective who is near discovering what the fuck is going in with this company. Now, people seem to ship Charlie and Michael for some reason. Not to judge anyone that does, i'm neutral towards it and i understand why a little.

So yeah. Here's my shitty excuse for a story idea for a series that is still kicking with what's left of a fandom. Charlie is an android that is being possessed by a ghost and can bring people to life and Michael is a sentient zombie working as an officer.
