Description
Ok, so... A while back when my mom was cleaning up the attic and found my old drawings, i saw a water painting i did back when i was a dumb tot. It was a picture of a stereo typical blonde princess in a pink dress with her bland as hell prince in front of a castle/forest backdrop. I'd love to show it to you, but i'll do once i do it.Now, the reason i'm bringing this up is because these two characters were actually the first few OCs i made right before i knew the concept of OCs were a thing. Of course, if you were to guess, they evolved into Gerda and Kemon .
Gerda was -like i said earlier- was a bland princess-y character based after barbie (who were the shit back in the good 'ol days) and disney. She didn't had a name back then, mainly because she was just a self insert i made up for my dumb fantasy ideas. And yes, i was a very girly boi. Don't try to force/pressuring me into embracing my femininity. That's my decision i'm making when i want to. Also, she used to have a pet crocodile.
Kemon -in his original version- had the whole 'transforming into animals thing' because i thought the whole shapeshifting thing was pretty cool. And presumably hot because i was also happen to be a child with issues right before finding out such things exist. You can say, i have strange luck with hindsight.
Anyways, Princess!Gerda was my OC who was a self insert for a fantasy i had as a kid who changed into a completely different character but still maintained one element; that is being initially a female version of myself as she was originally a genderbent version of Gregalias, who was during the time of his creation was a self insert of myself. Kemon also went through a leap in change, however he's only update to make him look less bland and less akin to something straight of late 2000's deviant artist' obsessive fascination towards anime, disney and furries (which was actually a thing btw).
So, yeah, this piece is a nod to their original forms, in which i made them dress up in their old clothes. Because who doesn't.
