mmmm. I'm already scared of growing up. I'd go to never never land, but it's run by scary people....>_> Or it was.
I dont wanna grow up, but a lot of people seem to imply I'm already rather mature for my age...so I might be more so than I think already. It doesn't mean I'm not scared...I think though that by the time I graduate, I might be ready.
The one regret I'll have, I think, is that...this year, I've kind of set myself up in a way that I won't have a ton of free time. So I'm wasting my last year as a kid doing work. That might be good though...because I could have children and realize how important it is to play with them. O-O With any luck however, I'll do all this work, AND still have time to be a kid. I think it might end up that way. Best case scenario.

Yes, I have been told the same thing about the maturity. In the last semester of my high school career, I managed to graduate after having my heart broken by the person that meant the world to me, moving out, holding down two jobs, and trying to support myself.
It was a lot of work, and I kind of regret not being able to be a kid in my last year of high school, but I did it. And I'm sure you'll be fine. If you only have one job, you will have plenty of nights and weekends to be a kid! lol.
Good luck in whatever you do. I admire you for your way of thinking. I wish I could say that I was always so optimistic about things. I got very discouraged along the way, but I still did it. And I managed to get a 3.8 GPA.....the fact that I only had 3 GRADED classes notwithstanding. lol.

Well you see, I have only one PAID job. And about four others that involve extracurricular activities that might take lots of my time. But if you could hold down two jobs, still get a 3.8 GPA...I'm sure I can handle it. ^^ My six graded classes notwithstanding.
I guess everyone has their struggles. And I'd be sorry that you had yours this year, but...I've only seldom appreciated an "I'm sorry bad things happened to you" from anyone, because I've always allowed the bad to help me along my way. And it sounds to me like you're similar. So. I'm not sorry they happened to you, but I do hope Karma treats you well in the coming years. ^^
tis kind of funny to talk to you about this, because before I decided Art was more my thing? I wanted to follow the same course you're going for (But chemistry...not my forte'. heh.) I hope to hear some stories about pre-med, therefore. ^^

I will definitely let you know how everything goes. And you are right. I usually feel awkward (sp?) when people say they are sorry something happened, cause I am never sorry it happened. What doesnt kill you only makes you stronger, right?
Wow, you are taking on quite a bit! When I lived in las vegas, i was in a college prep program, and I was in cheerleading. I was also a karate instructor and babysat over night thursday-sunday. But i dont think even THAT can compare to what you are taking on. I wish you luck with that. It's definitely not going to be easy. Especially with 6 classes. First semester of this year i had 6 graded classes and I was an aide which was pass/fail, and I only had one job, and I ended up with a 3.4. You sound like a better student than me! lol.
