Description
Cora frowned as he watched the black curly settle down across from him into the cave. The soft bed of foliage and grass beneath him was comfortable, and he couldn’t complain at all about how he’d been treated. Chrollo had taken care of him greatly, from day one. In fact, he felt like the curly had been the one inconvenienced the whole time. Chrollo seemed to catch the almost hauty stare. “What?” He asked, perking his folded ears, jewelry glinting in the twilight. Orca shook his head and looked to the entrance of the cave.
“If your goal is to get me better just so I can do your dirty work, you might as well kill me now. I’m done being someone's slave, I can assure you that you’re wasting your time.” Cora said smoothly, lowering his ears, not feeling as brave as he sounded. Just the trip out to see Alloy had put a lot of toll on his, his legs still aching from the exertion.
Chrollo’s eyes were blank, yet Cora felt an uneasiness in his gaze as a thin ind smile spread across the curly’s lips. “Ah, who said I wanted anything from you?”
Cora’s ears flicked. Despite the almost intimate closeness the two had shared through his recovery, he knew very little about the strange curly, and despite what the other said, he knew that inside it was still a blur. Who takes in a broken stranger like him just to fix them up and let them go? In fact, his mind had already run through some of the worst scenarios. He felt his heart sink as the curly stood, but instead of approach him, he turned and left the cave.
A pause, and Cora stood and followed the raven maned Tokota outside to the rough cliff ledge and glorious mountain view around them. His step still had a limp and he knew that Chrollo had to have known he snuck away the other night, but had said nothing. The curly took a deep breath and let it out slowly. An air of danger and authority surrounded him, a power that Cora had both loved and feared since the day they had met.
“I’m not lying, I helped you recover because I wanted to.” He said simply. “In fact, you should be well enough to leave if that’s what you wish. It’s been many months now, your wounds should be fine as long as you don’t do anything too stressful.” He hummed, eyes searching the horizon before looking back at Cora with a questioning glint. “You can go, start your own pack. Mine should be back home at anytime anyway. You wouldn’t want to stay I’m sure.” He paused as Cora looked out over the bright trees, the thought of freedom appealing. Could he start a new life? Slay his demons, embrace the good in himself he never had before? Could be even survive on his own?
“Or…” He looked back to Chrollo as the curly spoke again, his gentle smile now almost sinister, yet welcoming. “You can stay, join my family, my pack… I will welcome you with open arms, as will they. We take care of one another as if bonded by blood and you will find that you will not feel unwanted. But of course, this is all your choice. I will not force you to stay, and you are welcome to leave. But same goes that after you make your decision, there is no backing out. If you stay, you will not betray us, and you can not leave. If you choose to go, then you will be seen as a stranger to my pack, and I can’t promise we won’t kill you.” He spoke with serious conviction, and Cora flinched as the pale sky highlight the mysterious alpha’s presence. He stood tall with narrow grey eyes, watching and waiting for the lilac to say something, to make a decision.
Cora could feel him, know that despite his kindness, despite that gentle smile, despite the almost fatherly way he had been cared for, that Chrollo was evil. That his very presence meant death and destruction. That surely the better path would be to just turn and leave. He was offering for Cora to join his family. And in a way he thirst for that dangerous power, the way Chrollo made him feel whenever the curly came close to him. A blissful danger that he had never felt before. Yet it would also mean that Chrollo would be his alpha.
The pain in his still healing bones throbbed as he tossed the situation around under the gaze of a patient stranger. Finally, Cora stood and moved up beneath the Curly, sitting down as he pressed his muzzle submissively to the alpha’s chin. “Than I choose to stay here, with you.” He spoke smoothly, yet stronger, assured by his decision. This stranger had no reason to have saved him, to have shown him such disgusting sympathy, yet he had and he had wasted so much time on him. Despite know that this was a horrible idea, that even the evil spirits swarmed this man, he was content and felt safe under his authority. He was willing to dedicate his whole being to repay the mercy the other had shown. Chrollo would be HIS alpha.

6. The spirits have recognized your tokota's worth - unfortunately, this includes the darker spirits as well as the benevolent. Will your tokota be tempted by the call of dark forces, or spurn them for the light?

whoah boy... Cora please, you just got out of trouble and then you run head first into it again... Papa Crow is disappointed..
This is so nice though, it's weird seeing Cora willingly submit to someone, this has been such a nice miniseries where he really got to show how different he can be.

ROFL, It's just in his nature to have to have someone watching him 24/7 how can you expect him to make good decisions when his dad is not around. Tokoqueen already confirmed Chrollo does not approve of Crow.
Yesss, which was of course the main goal! He's not all bite and no brains. I hope that when I get the time I will continue this series too! I just need to put a plan to action~ (and Siren needs to give them pups)

He needs constant reassurance and adult supervision or things start going wrong. >>
O NO. NO NO. That wont work, Crow is gonna see his son, whether Chrollo likes it or not! >:V
Cora is literally the teenage girl who brings an emo bf home and the bf and the dad instantly hate eachother...
Well you showed that perfectly well, it's a completely new side of Cora!!
Oh yes please, that boy's story needs to go on and he NEEDS MORE CHILDREN.

Yes, 24/7, even Chrollo can't deal with him sometimes.
Well Chrollo said no and he also said that Crow wouldn't get past his hoard of brutal bodyguards either.
ROFL, yesssss, perfect comparison.

I honestly don't blame him, again, he should ask Crow to get that child leash for Cora...
Pfff Crow will either wait for Cora to be roaming around or, if he gets impatient enough, just march right on in after him. Don't underestimate a papa bear wanting to see his child, he'll kick all of their a* to find him!
That'll make for an awkward family dinner LMAO.
You're so welcomeee! TAT
YES. YEEEESSS~ An army of small crazy longmanes!! WE NEED.

ROFL
Chrollo said as long as he doesn't cause problems he can come. But if he messes with/tries to take Cora than he'll be like a fly in a spider's web and they'll show no mercy.
Just glares all around the table.
BUT IT ALREADY EXISTS ROFL

Oh please, it's Crow we're talking about, he causes problems just by standing in place. He doesn't really understand what you can and can't say so he'll definitely end up offending someone and ofc try to convince Cora to come with him anyway .
God that'd be the most awkward thing LOL
IT NEEDS MORE FLUFFERS STILL
