these little bastards with wings are nutritious for completely decimating landscapes if they get too angered or out of control. they will mow down entire structures and cause all kinds of damage to any crops, nests and even hanging huts.
they will devour any and everything with their incredibly durable mandibles.

their nests are typically found up high in the tallest and thickest of trees above ground where they are safe from burrowing or roaming predators due to their relatively small size of 1 meter. though colonies of these Terramites typically range in the thousands.
if they are disturbed in any way or their population isn't controlled, an infestation will begin and they will start to eat up the trees and vegetation around. if their feeding isn't controlled they'll start to spread to kingdoms and civilian life.

their teeth aren't just durable enough to chew up wood, rocks and hard chitin, but they can also chew right through dragon scales. and if too many crawl on one dragon, they won't escape without losing a limb or two, or they could get unlucky and be eaten alive.

these white devils luckily only inhabit the redwoods since it's trees are the only thing able to sustain their ravenous appetite, if they were to be introduced else where and were allowed to breed, it could be bad.
