Description
The Sand Wyrm is a dangerous nocturnal predator of the desert, they hunt at night when the surface is cool. Usually they travel alone, but even one is dangerous. They are equipped with claws that shove sand aside, allowing them to burrow deep in the ground. Their body is also lined with chitin as tough as dragon scales. In their mouths are rows of razor sharp teeth which this use to literally shred their meal.
