Simply lovely! I particularly like his, what do you say, posture? That subtle subtext of attitude from his pose, from the look in his eyes - it says he is above finery, and that flame-spitting beasts are for him like kittens to be petted absent-mindedly. Splendid!
I do not know if it captures his appearance (I imagined him as being a bit less handsome and more aged), but it depicts his character (as, well, a character) so very well. I love your artwork, keep at it!

aaaaaaaaaw yeeeeeaaaaah! this could make for a great oil painting portrait of the guy. He looks like he stared into the eyes of the wife and surrendered and no longer gives a f*ck about the fancy smancy clothes. Well... for the time being. I mean, slashed sleeves and ruff collars? Feather AND bows in a big fluffy hat? Someone's going to pay for something fast.
