I love that you came up with all this just from the theme "treasure"! You've got characters with personalities, an original setting, neat visual story, and cool floaty magic things that I don't think I've ever seen before! So awesome!

it's my favorite thing at illustrationfriday- simple theme and then you can draw whatever you want
....and I really like to draw stories...drawing images without them is quite boring

Wow! This was done in a notebook? I'm not sure if it would have looked better without the spiral binding up top, but it looks great. The details are incredible and add so much story to the piece - the (water?) hands are awesome, and I love the lighting.

Wonderful illustration! Yet I would think a bit about color intensity and accents - currently you have too many active spots and the attention of the viewer is drawn to some side details instead to the point of action.
