I can totally just picture the first morning John is living in the flat with Sherlock, and he's just at the kitchen table, making his tea, when all of a sudden Sherlock walks up and starts poring seemingly random chemicals together, and John's just staring, eyes shifting between the tall man and the mixture, in disbelief and shock (and possibly horror).

John: "Sh...Sherlock...?"
Sherlock: "Hmm?"
John: "Is.. is this normal?"
Sherlock: "What is?"
John: "You mixing random chemicals together."
Sherlock: "It is not random, but I don't really feel like explaining it all to you. And yes, it is."
John: "Well do you HAVE to do it here? ...While I'm making my tea?"
Sherlock: "Yes. If I moved it, it might cause some serious explosions, and if I did this any later, I wouldn't get the outcome I want. I suggest that YOU move, because this particular mixture could be lethal."
John: "Well why are you handling it, then?"
SHerlock: "Research."
John: "...Right... uh... Be careful with that. *slowly moves away*"

XD I think it fits! I really do (even if I did write their dialogue a bit OOC, but oh well. Tis my first time even attempting lol)!

Now, I know that the stuff on the table is complete bullshiz, but I don't know anything about chemistry stuff. All of the equipment and such is just not something I felt like looking up. OTL
