Because I've never drawn into the Friendship Is Magic thing before, but they're everywhere. So, this is just my little say on what I think Vulpix would look like with a cutie mark. I spent a lot of time studying the animation of the series, but in the end I had to find my own way to go about it, so, yes, I realize this isn't your typical MLPFIM style, or Pokemon, for that matter. Vulpix simply decided for herself that she wanted to be just a little bit more on the elegant side of cute. Bonus combination of my two favorite animals, the horse and the fox, and in it's own way my tribute to the Year of the Horse. Here's hoping to make this year that much better than the last!Today's jam was 'Red - Already Over'.

Its like Vulpix and Rapidash had a child. xD She's absolutely lovely though! As a hardcore fan of both fandoms, I think its pretty wicked! (and Vulpix is one of my all time favs, so wicked~~)

Oh gosh, that is a cute idea! Thank you so much. I was unexpectedly happy with the final result on her. I'm glad it could appeal to a MLP fan. I used to like the originals, but a lot of people don't remember those now. Thank you again! I need to get back into drawing, and decide who the mommy and who the daddy are, because now you've got me imagining a family photo.

Thank you so very much! I was a fan of them when I was little, the original, but I can't get into this new craze. Unexpectedly, it was a lot of fun trying to imagine how to combine the two. The mane was a lot of fun, and one of the happiest shading outcomes I've seen on my work. I always adored Vulpix, and I absolutely love horses, so this was really a great project.
