That's gorgeous... little details and consitent characterful style.. really charmin n luffly. It's also jsut really nice to look at deviation that are the right SIZE! THANKYOU (u always have to either squint at a tiny thumbnail or scroll around a massive canvas) You've captured a really expressive winter scene with this.

How do you do this? Did you just sit down and start doodling in illustrator? Or do you start sketching on paper/photoshop-esque software?

What I'll do is either sketch out my idea first on paper and scan it in, or sketch it with my drawing tablet in Corel Painter. I'll then bring it into illustrator and vector over it.
