Description

This is another part of my series of realistic star textures, colors calibrated with respect to surface temperature typical for the spectral type. For sun-like stars, I chose to include sun spots at lattitudes where you would expect them on the sun. The texture is syntesized out of SDO images of the sun taken in visible light.

This particular texture corresponds to the color of a G type star, so the spectral type of the sun. I also made textures balanced for the appearance of F and K type stars.
