The warm sun beamed down upon Regale as he heaved a sigh, lowering his head into the lush grass. Birds sang above him, the grasses rustled gently in the breeze. The gentle breath of Star's sleeping was overlapped with the quicker, shallower breaths of his twin foals, Aoife and Adham, as they jostled each other with quiet grunts in their slumber. Regale smiled, stretching himself out, finally allowing his heavy eyelids to slide shut. The time of Rejuvenation was at hand; at last, he could rest.
