Description Faded white regions are places where cliff or mountain walls block the view.

The Red Steppes: This is where the Cave dwellers reside. they have several areas of caves, some for food sotrage, some for the leaders, herd, and the healer. A small oasis that they call the Haven is where they go the majority of the time to eat. Underground springs of fresh water are abundant in their cave homes. The Haven is about 30 minutes away from the main herd cave section.

The Basin: a lake once lie here, long since dried up. this is where Iliad is located, as well as the fault line. Nomads are abundant here.

The Prarie: This is where the Feral herd resides. They find shelter in the forests and in the shade of the Lone mountain.Β

Sure thing!
Here is what the actual, real-life fault the TWW is based on:Β imageenvision.com/450/42169-st…
Except the TWW fault is a little higher on one side! It's about 5 feet wide as well.

Quick question: Where would the Feral horse guards patrol? Like would they be very far out past the Lone Mountain?

and also "prairie" is misspelled on the map *cough*

Fargonon In reply to gyngercookie [2014-03-04 20:26:28 +0000 UTC]

They usually patrol in a circular formation around the herd, about a mile out~

wooops

Is there any place in the cave mustang territory where the ranch/feral herd can be seen at a distance? Or would it be impossible to see any others from cave mustang land?

I want to know if my regular herd member would be able to stay within the allowed area somewhere and observe nomads and/or feral horses, like on the horizon or something.. I guess I want to know where the boundries are? Where can he safely wander without running into any sort of intentional trouble?

Could you maybe do an aerial type map with allowed/danger zones for each of the herds?

So there are no known deserts? Which areas get the most rain or are the most dangerous to a traveling horse?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Fargonon In reply to vore-dogs [2014-02-23 18:55:51 +0000 UTC]

The place where the Cave Dwellers reside is considered a desert, and on the back of their mountain is a very vast one.

The most rain falls in the Prarie and the Basin

The most dangerous places are near the road, the Fault, and the entry to the Cave territory !
