Symbolism/Meaning:
"Don’t let this world die in darkness
Don’t let me drown in this silence
Always remember your promise
If there is no light to find
then make your own"
This work features Farphyni (who is a symbol for my creativity etc.) as well as Arka the Fae (humanoid Farphyni).
Actually, Farphyni is half-phoenix, half-dragon, but here I felt like drawing her with a dominant phoenix-part, to underline the symbolism of this artwork.
A few years ago I got a tattoo to always remember a promise I gave myself and last week I spontaneously decided to draw something related to a part of its meaning.
