Heey, guys
This is a Harry Potter-fanart (what? again?
...yes, I'm obsessed, sorry for that...please check out my other drawings^^) of my most beloved characters: Severus Snape and Sirius Black. They both are SUBLIME! I know I'm not the only one to adore them, but I just LOVE to draw them!Have you ever imagined this situation? It's a scene from the book "The Order of the Phoenix" when Snape visits Grimmauld Place and Sirius puts up an almost fight. But did you ever think about the higher level of their hate? They both fight for persons they loved and who loved each other! But Severus and Sirius HATE each other...well, this is quite complicated but I love their relationship...!
For explanation (some asked me...): The persons in the background are Lily and James Potter.

I was under the impression that Severus hates Sirius because Sirius tried to murder him when they were students.

well, this surely was one of the reasons he hated him. But he didn't like him much longer...I'd say from the first moment they met in the train. Sirius behaved rather arrogant and Snape also didn't show his best side.

Obviously Severus also hated Sirius because Sirius bullied him, but the murder attempt is an order of magnitude larger.
The hatred between James and Severus is due to their rivalry for Lily, but we are never told why Sirius hates Severus. He just does, apparently without reason.

Yes, I agree at least with the last point. Sirius is very selfish and self-centred. There are many things I don't quite understand about him but that makes him so interesting! I think, he hated Snape for the fact that he was Slytherin and always supposed to be a death eater in the near future what Sirius hated because of his childhood. But we never know exactly

this is gorgeous!!! I love how this relationship has been written by JK Rowling.... they're on the same side, and, as you say, they are really close to each other through their friendships and loves, but there is so much hatred between them at the same time... ahhhh scars from the past....
