Not sure if that's how you would categorize it...But I had fun with this pixel. c: I usually work with pixel patterns, not pixel art, so this was a bit of a challenge for me, especially since this was my first... "serious" (? ; u ; ) pixel.
helped me a bit with the lineart.

Now i'm not much of a pixle artist (my avatar is about all i've done) but to me this looks great. The motion, the color gradation, has the mark of a lot of thought and effort going in. The only advice i have is about the fish anatomy, i assume this is a arial view, which makes the protruding eyes very odd, and they might have been better totally absent, or flat against the body and barely noticeable, or turning the fish so one side was visible if you are determined to make the eyes important... The fins are also quite sparse, the tail would normally have a lower half that we could see, and the side fins are very small, i'd like it more for at least one to be flared out (maybe not realistic but more visually interesting) and the connection with the tail is a little to thin for me.

I thought the eyes were a bit odd as well, but I couldn't fix them. xD I see what you mean on the fins. They do look rather weird, and a bit too connected. Same with the tail, it kind of... flows into the fish, inside of connecting with the fish. *weird wording* I'll be sure to keep that in mind for my next one! c:
