Firestar and Sandstorm. Why These two are my all time favourite couple? Well...
First off, I love those hate-to-love relationships. And Firestars and Sandstorms relationship had a great development. I don't get why People Always say that Sandstorm only started to Show interest in Fire after he became popular, because this isn't the case.
Their relationship is based on mutual respect. Firestar Always Kind of respected her skills and Sandstorm really started to respect Fire after he saved her from falling down the cliffs in the old riverclan territory. Sandstorms "Eww, you're a kittypet!" turned into a "I don't like where you come from, but you are a good warrior." And then she slowly started to Forget About his former life and saw him as the loyal warrior he was. It was a slow Progress, that showed the growing sympathy on both sides. We watched Sandstorm overcoming her prejudices and developing Deep Feelings for Firestar. We watched Firestar earning respect from the cat whose respect might have been one of the hardest to gain. They started to influence eachother on many Levels. Sandstorm Always was the more aggressive and hotheaded one, while Firestar was kinda calm. They overcame struggles together, like Sandstorms jealousy towards Spottedleaf and the journey to the new territorys. Together they raised two kits and I believe Sandstorm and Firestar both would be very different cats without eachother. They had a longlasting, successful relationship that had the best development in the entire series. At least that's what I think. I just love those two and this contest: www.deviantart.com/warriorsgoi… was the best excuse to draw my babies.

I decided to draw them Standing on a rock, Maybe in the camp, Maybe they just walked around the territory and decided to enjoy the view. Firestars Looks up to the sky while sandstorm Looks at him. They just Chat About the clan and enjoy eachothers Company.

I don't mean to brag but I am really proud of firestars design. Also I am Pretty satisfied with the drawing… I had only very Little time on my Hands since I started to animate, finals are coming up and I tried to get up and do some Sports once in a while. But it was a lot of fun, I played around with brushes and styles and Colors. Also it is nice to sit down after a hard day of learning and just draw some nice cats.
