Description
A spcescape of a solar system being devoured by a black hole as seen by an icy moon of one of the planets. This was really an experiment to see if i could pull off a piture like *alyn's, [link] , amazing work.
Mostly photoshop and the ground was rendered in Terragen.
Edit: After reading ~custonspace's and the other comments I downloaded terragen and was able to create a better terrian for the moon.

I like the coloration of the blackhole. The land still doesnβt look quite right. Nice job.

intesting, the icy moon part of it need more works but the blackhole is nice, though not really realistic with all the fractal light around it, good work

That's pretty sweet, good color/lighting at the top and feel of motion of being pulled into the black hole... The lighting on the moon is good, I'm not sure if I like the lighting on the planet as much though.
