All right, I'll bite... which Phantom is that? Charles Dance? Judging by the mask, it's not Robert Englund or that horrid Hammer-film one...

LOL IT's Gerard brought back from the dead. I'll explain how in a little bit. He's wearing the mask from Don Juan Triumphant.

LOL. I hope Rae likes Scottish accents. He is kinda sexy when he's not singing. Got a very dark, intense look about him.

got that right, but I like his singing voice as well. It's different.

It's growing on me. I'm so used to Michael Crawford's clear, "veddy British" enunciation that Gerard's diction throws me a little. He's trying so hard to keep his accent out of it (which is admirable, accents are not easy to shed) that sometimes it sounds strange... almost semi-american.
Though I have seen far worse Phantoms on-stage.

lol I got used to it after the first couple of times listening to the soundtrack. I went through the "He's not quite right, not like Micheal Crawford" and went directly into "He's cool! He's in a category on his own." fairly quickly. And yes, at some points he's really trying far too hard, but it still sounds good and I ignore those moments. The funny thing is I doubt he does the funky Micheal Crawford evil maniacal laugh. XD There's no one on the face of this good green Earth that can duplicated that laugh.
and yes, I agree, there have been worse phantoms. :: shudders:: as well as even worse Christines.
