Description The name of this place is Myllykoski as the title says. It 's in Kuusamo, Finland.
The building is an old mill.
Finnish nature is starting to look very colourful.

I's a HDR image so I can't say the colors are real. Wanted to shoot HDR so that the sky won't be over-exposed.
I didn't want to overdo with the colors though.

thnx for the answer, actually I am new in photography and got a nikon D80 couple of days ago..I was wondering how you guys take sky photography soo natural way like really blue sky...whats the hack anyway if u don't mind!

i love hdr (a technique that was developed for film back in the 40's or 50's, btw), but don't have the skill or patience for it. my trick for getting strong sky colors is to aim the camera at the sky and expose for it, then use photoshop to bring out the details and color for the underexposed parts that are the landscape or other objects - just like dodging and burning in the darkroom

The sky looked really dull yesterday and if I hadn't shot HDR, it wouldn't look interesting at all (I don't have any filters for darkening the sky..)
Just google HDR and you'll find lots of useful tutorials!
