Lately I've been getting into the habit of finishing up some really old forgotten pictures that have been waiting patiently in my sketch book.

This has a bit of a story behind it as well. When I first started this up (about a year ago) it was just meant to be practice. But I ended up liking the characters I had starting drawing so much I began to do a little comic on them. Basically, the girl (Tian) was the spoiled daughter of a descendant from royalty who was the only one in her family to grow up with a sense of morals. Her only escape from the corrupted palace in which she lived was in the guards' training hall where she was secretly taught how to fight. One day she decides to flee to the outside world where she thinks she will find freedom and be able to help her people. Instead she finds a blind bounty hunter who has become a very successful and hated element in the tracker community. After she stops him from consuming a poisoned drink she tags along with him, insisting that she saved his life and he owes her. Eventually he takes her in after realizing that she can be his eyes and help him track down wanted felons while keeping an eye out for other jealous trackers.
I didn't get far with the story after that. There was going to be a part where Tian's family puts out a reward for their 'kidnapped' daughter and puts up posters of her all over town. She begins to wear a mask so no one will recognize her face and she never tells the blind man who she actually is. There was going to be a part where it explains how the man can 'see' by using two little bells tied to his belt to make sound bounce off of nearby objects. Tian would wonder why the sound of the bells was so familiar to her, and later she would remember that she had actually given them to him when they were children. They had just forgotten about each other till that point.

Woo, long story. And I only have about 7 pages fleshed out in comic-form. But yeah, this is the pic that started all of that.
Some of the shading got looked over in my scanner... fooey.
