there's a difference between discussing and simply stating "i wanna kick his head off" on an artists work of a character that they very clearly like. we all saw the show? we all know what's gone down. don't need a refresher. you're tryin to make your rude comment abt hating a character look like an opening for a conversation which it very clearly isn't since the best you'll get in return is a shrug of "okay? i mean idk i like him" it's probably safe to assume that a character such as eric gets a lot of hate as it is. maybe, just maybe, your two cents is only adding to the pile and making someone feel like shit abt a character that means somethin to them
it's important to think: is it True? is it Helpful? is it Inspiring? is it Necessary? is it Kind? if not, you maybe don't need to be saying it to someone who was just expressing themselves and making art of a character they like
communicating isn't a simple one way street of I Want To Say This, that's just talking to talk. it's important to consider the repercussions and implications of what you say, and how it will be received. in this case, you came onto an artwork of eric to say you hate eric and want to beat him up. that's doesn't win you points. try to imagine walking into a room of ppl who like snakes and going "i hate snakes i want to kick them" lmao it's not considerate and it's not wise

if you wanted to have a discussion, about how much you don't like a character that another person clearly likes, then you should perhaps find yourself an agreeable audience or a platform that lends itself to that. not a comment section on a piece of art that someone put effort into. which, i get it, ya got nothing against the art. that's great. but the art is OF a character, and when you shit on that character you make the person who drew it feel bad in turn.

i also love how you totally disregard the artists clear discomfort with what you're saying and evident disagreement; you just want to keep bein rude for the sake of putting your words out there. even if it's potentially bothering someone who likely gets nothin but hate/this type of screwery on art they make of a character.. you should learn some manners.
