Description
*shrugs*Not much to say - like the title states, this was just a quick sketch taken into Photoshop and colored quickly. I've always loved the contrast between Drow/dark elves' stark white hair and dark skin.
This was fast for me; done in only 2 hrs. I like the sketchy-ness - it's not my usual, control-freak, style.

Ooo! I like this a lot. The angle u captured is really cool, and his hair looks nice and whispy. I'm liking the upper part of his face, from the nose up, yet the chin bugs me.
One, I don't usually tend to like clefts - that's just me though lol - so that might be the only reason it's buggering me out ... but the cleft seems a tad bit too dark if u were to make it look a tinsy bit more realisitc. Yet the whole piece is scetchy, so I dunno. But also the chin seems to be a bit big. Just a tad. Though that, again, is just my opinion. Also the whole puzzle looking affect is a bit odd, and I'd say it distracts from the actual drawing. But it's kinda neat, and definitely interesting. All in all I like it!

It's funny, several people have commented on how the chin cleft bothers them. I guess that should be a hint, huh? Thanks for the great critique! *hugs*

You didn't show me this one! I think you've really developed a distinct style since we've known each other. I'm serious, if I see a picture now I know that you did it...and this is just one more to add to your phenomenol collection!

Lol - Em, you didn't see it because I completely made it last night after you went to bed! I literally sketched it, scanned it in, and colored it from between about 3 - 5 a.m. I guess I could have stayed up a little longer and kept my computer on to show you, but I wasn't that driven. *laughs* Thanks for the praise! It's interesting that you think I have a distinct style...I can't see myself as having one, but I think it's because I'm the one making stuff and it's basically instinct dictating what I do, not a thought out "hmmm, let's use color as textures, etc." philosophy. It's always really helpful to hear people's interpretations of what your artistic style is for that reason.

You know, I think I've heard more from you on this silly thing than I have in real life in the past few days. GOSH! Life is SO stressful. All you would've had to do is stay up for an extra half hour or so. I mean, come on! You totally could have let me see it. You should always wait for me to wake up before you go to bed...I think it should be a tradition!

Good point HM; it IS a little, well, ULTRA-defined. XD That's a pretty quick fix. Thanks for the tip!

I like his eyes and the creases around them. The chin is matching very good to the eyes and in general to this hard- looking contour of the face. His facial expression is very nice too. I would suggest you to make the shoulders more bend, because I think they are too regular now. I love the colours you have used for it and it is really a great contrast!

Noferura - I always love your comments; you're always so detailed and helpful! Thanks so much for the critique. About the shoulders: yeah, I threw those in at the last minute (lol at about 4:50 a.m.) and I didn't want them/bother to make them too defined, so they do look a little weak. I might have to hop back into Photoshop and tinker with them a little more.
