I got so impatient, goodness me y’all were quite excited. Lotta characters in this one, mostly flashbacks.

Kuimba went through a lot of shit, so have her children (blood and adopted) and it’s scarred her deeply. Even though she’s technically free of those troubles they still haunt her.

Just to clarify, top left is Moordenar, below him is Niraja (Faraja and Rahisi’s birth mother), the middle is young Umba with an even younger Zuberi, followed by a young Rahisi and Faraja. Right is Kuimba (and her eye)

For the record, to explain Moordenar, Kuimba in the Echelon universe was the heir to Machaleo, her mate was her intended. The lineage of the lands runs through her veins strongest. This will play in slightly later in the story.
