God these two have become one of my favorite parts of my next gen

For those who don't know them, Shauri is one of the younger daughters of Kovu and Kiara, and Mosi is Zuri's son.

Honestly planning these two together didn't really come up in my head until after I changed Mosi's design in the TLK challenge. I knew Shauri's love interest would need to be someone overly dramatic, especially when it came to romance, and despite her ragged looks would be seen as the most gorgeous thing in existence- aaaaaand yeah Mosi fit perfectly.

Now, since Mosi grew up primarily in the Night Pride, he officially was introduced to Shauri until they were both adults, and he crushed on her instantly. However, quietly, enough that no one but maybe his mother and Shani knew. This was because Mosi had enough politeness to not smother a stranger in his unabashed love.

Nah, what you see above didn't happen until these two had become unlikely friends (Mosi was also a big supporter of Shauri presenting herself as 'ambassador princess' to the kingdom more openly.)

Because the whole shenanigan of Mosi cartoonishly pursuing Shauri was because Shauri done goofed up.

It's sort of a whole "you kissed your friend in a moment of wild abandon at a party without considering why you would kiss them but oops they've been silently harboring feelings for you this entire time and now your kiss was like dropping a match on a sea of gunpowder-"

And yeah now Shauri is stuck dealing with her weird conflicting feelings and now has no fucking clue how to handle the switch that was flipped in Mosi's brain.
