This is SORTA a vent piece. I dunno man.I just finished high school, graduated and everything. I'm going to college next year and leaving home.
It kinda hit me hard that everything and everyone I grew up with is kind of... Gone now.
I broke up with my two closest friends. We spent a fun 10 years together, and some of my favorite memories are shared with them. It was sad to find out that unless I groveled and begged, I couldn't keep them as my friends.
But I'm sort of realizing that I'm actually really good at making friends. I have quite a few, actually. Although I'm probably never going to see these people again, they taught me a lot, despite that I only began to learn at the last second.
I'm a wonderful, friendly, very talented and educated girl. Surprisingly, people tend to like me. And knowing this, I know that when I leave home and start a new chapter of my life that I'm going to do nothing but grow and meet new and better people.
I'm sick of this town, anyway. ;D
Although high school and my the town I was born and grew up in is going to be a thing of the past, I'm never going to forget the good times I had with the people in it. Despite there might be more bad than good, I'm going to try to remember it all for the good times, rather than the bad. Hopefully they will too.
On the bright side, now I get to wear sandals and be bare foot without feeling self conscious! (stupid phobia of feet. Like wtf)
TL;DR: I'm done high school and I'm over it.

I feel like you've just grown a bit in my eyes. I'll admit that you scare me ^^ but I'm also a rather fearful person, so, that's not actually as odd as would be assumed.
