Hint: Rex is the metalheadThis is the first thing I've drawn in like a week and it turned out kinda chibi dunno how that happened... I finally sat down, cranked up some SLF and drew my sona and three favorite sons. Faulty and Rex are all happy because Rex is the people's favorite, Revolt's just chillin around like he is 99% of the time and Blitz is petting his tail. Blitz is a little off. Probably needs a mental evaluation. Too many paint fumes or something. There's gotta be some reason he's a big doof.

My favorite thing that's ever happened is that I had to explain to my dad that one of his favorite songs is anti-war (my dad is extremely conservative.) It's China White by Scorpions. You don't even need to listen to it the lyric, "How long will it take to make the Earth a fireball? How long will it take till no more life exists at all? How long will it take for everybody to understand that we need to fill our hearts with love again?"

a lot of the big ones, like Slipknot, a little bit of slayer. But I also love Beartooth, Demon Hunter and Breaking Benjamin, and nearly everything in between. You?

I have the more what do you call it "hair not glam" side of it. 80s bands that were borderline arena rock but actually good. Kix, Queensryche, that stuff from my parents. I'm weird when it comes to metal like I actually don't know much of the big names besides Iron Maiden (of course I love them) and Metallica (because honestly who doesn't have a Metallica album laying around somewhere.) I listen to a little thrash, mainly that British band Accept. They're one of my favorites along with Ugly Kid Joe

Of course all the classic metal bands are amazing!! Iron Maiden and Metallica are great! I'll check out those other bands! But Slipknot is one of the big 4. There a thrash metal band, if you don't mind the swears, there really good!

They're one of those bands who sound heavy for the sake of being heavy, I could never get into them. That's why I like Accept, they're heavy but they don't let it take away from the talented musicians or the lyrics. And the big 4 is Metallica, Slayer, Megadeath and Anthrax unless that changed?

Oh ya sorry I gotta a little mixed up. Slipknot has great vocals. A band with great vocals and music and deep lyrics is Beartooth, they're a metal core band. They're newest album focused quite a bit on vocals which I enjoy actually!

I might check them at some point, a lot of new metal never catches me right. Honestly nothing is mixed near as good as the old stuff. Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime album is the level of quality I grew up expecting and I'm constantly let down as more and more new bands come out. Hell, I grew up with cassettes too so I was a bit spoiled I guess haha

Yeah I know a bunch of weird more obscure stuff. Like when you used to buy a whole cd to hear one song. I've grabbed a few of them from our collection and played them and found some amazing stuff. And I'll sometimes listen to some late night radio shows with my dad who will go back to stuff like Bulletboys and Dangerous Toys
