It's an interesting depiction. It's a little strange with the design, but it makes its mark. Probably like everyone says, the eyes has a great contrast with his surroundings, giving it a sharp and defiant persona. As the black liquid or whatever is enveloping his face and the broken wing shows, he seems to become corrupted, although perhaps not willingly or he remains indifferent all the same. Congratulations on the DD!

I love it when people write deep and thoughtful comments like this, its really interesting to see different POV around one piece and how different people view my work : )
It started with just a painting of a face, then i got inspired by a photo of a model with paint dripping on his face so I go ahead and try to paint some black ink. I wanted to give the piece kind of a corrupted feel so I went with the clichΓ© idea of fallen angel xP hence the broken wing.
