OK......I can understand this.
I had a young Crow once and spent half my time catching grasshoppers for him. He rode on the back of my dog.
One day he had managed to get out of the Garden shed but he kept coming back to say hello.

Unfortunately we sold that house but I did ask the new owners to look out for him...........he was called Toulouse and knew his name.

I knew they were meat eating scavengers but didn't know they acted like raptors by chasing and killing prey

Actually crows get food by hunting for small rodents, frogs etc. Sometimes they even fish.
