As I said on HF, sorry for being late posting the latest commissions over HF/DA. They will be up along tomorrow.

Now, to the matter at hand, commissions.

I'm doing this regarding to the constant complaining of people who don't make it in and find it unfair, etc...
As some of you interested probably know, the way I do it is, I open a queue, and those that e-mail me first get a slot in the queue.
some people find it unfair, and feel it is random. So asked for me to do a "lottery" system, in which I'll randomly pick a number associated to an e-mail (ya screw logic).

So What I'm going to do is as follows:

1. The Slot Queue will no longer be a slot per user, but per picture. From now on there will be 12 slots, one being a single commission I'll do. Each commissioner can take a maximum of 2 commissions, making it 2 slots per commissioner at maximum.
The reason for this is that, with the maximum of 3 per user, I'd find people asking 3 pictures. What i expcted is some to ask 1, some to ask 2, and rarely some to ask 3. With everyone asking for 3, if i had a busy month, i'd end up having to work too much for my own health (I also have to study Japanese and do other stuff, sadly can't be drawing commissions 24/7).

2.The first 8 slots out of the 12, will be given to those who arrive first, sending me an e-mail. Since each user can take up to 2 slots, the amount of people i can take in those first 8 slots may vary.

3.The last 4 slots, out of the 12, will be given through a lottery to 4 different users. If those users asked for more than one commissions, sorry but you'll have to pick one (since it's a slot per picture now). Basically I'm hoping people will calm down a little. Now, this is random, so i can't assure that those arriving late will get it. The one getting it might have e-mailed early as well. Is what you people asked for, and I'm gonna grant it to you guys. If we see this works, we will keep it, otherwise we will think of something else.
Of course, those who already got one of the 8 slots, won't be in the lottery for one of the 4 slots.

The lottery thing is something some of you have suggested. Now, doing a complete lotery as some suggested would be unfair to others arriving earlier, that's why I'm still keeping the "first come first serve" slots.

Some others suggested me to create a separate queue for people not making it, but as I said, the point of me doing the limited queues is because i hate having to work on something i got asked half a year ago. think about it. Feelings change, will changes. Something that i was fine drawing, after 6 months, I might find really off-putting to draw. I probably won't even remember what was it about. It sucks, put in short. Plus it's really stressing, and newcomers NEVER get a chance. Because there are people before them. They will have to wait for half a year, and liek this the queue keeps getting longer and longer and longer. I'm, not, doing, this. get in your heads people.

Others suggested that I hand picked the commissions. Now I'm not gonna point out the obvious "I want you to pick mine" (quite direct) indirect, but ye. I said I'd not be Biased as much as i could, so that method is out of question.

So lottery it shall be, let's see how it works.
