Beewee have no natural shell of their own, using molted Ledyba shells instead. Weevolt will often lay a number of eggs among those of Ledyba, with the parent raising the hatchling Beewee as if it were one of its own. Once it is strong enough, it will leave the Ledyba nest and venture forth independently.

Beewee use their antenna to in a variety of ways, and the colour it flashes is said to indicate its mood. When startled or intimidated, they will retract into their shells and send out signals to nearby Weevolt to aid them. At night, flashing in a morse code-like language to one another, many people mistake Beewee for UFOs.

If forced to, the antenna can also send out a number of attacks, from bug buzz to thunder wave (pictured).
