So if you’ve been following me lately, I started a poll last week. Well, the results came in and Nessa from Pokémon was the ultimate winner!!! (Sorry Roxanne!) So, as I promised, here is the sketch of our winner! Here she is, about seven months pregnant, while a little Piplup tries to figure what is going on in her belly.

Piplup is a little confused, but she got the spirit.

I never once played a Pokémon game nor do I watch the show, so I didn’t know much about Nessa. But I knew people liked her so I thought I’d give y’all a little treat. I actually read some basics about her when drawing her, so now I know… about 5% about her. :I

I wasn’t a fan of how her face turned out, so I basically had to redraw is several times. I also kept trying different sizes for her belly, but I decided to just go with a medium size for it. Other than her face I’m somewhat proud about how this turned out! :3

This wasn’t the first draft of her. The first draft was her in hard labor (with the kiddo’s head poking into her shorts), but I decided to scrap it since A) It didn’t look too good and B) I didn’t want to make anything graphic. Maybe I’ll try it again in the future for you birth fans.

Nessa belongs to Pokémon which belongs to Nintendo. Piplup belongs to them too.
