Description What can I say about this? I wanted to do something for 's June competition (swimsuit competition)...but I might chicken out and not submit this at all, I'm not sure my artwork is up to par. But I will upload it and see how I feel about entering.

So, I went a predictable route and made them swimsuits out of their outfits. Actually, I really like how that turned out!

Sigh...I really went for something predictable and cliche'd with Miroku and making him look "womanising" and I promised I'd never do that. But...I needed a reason for Sango to be in a modern-looking swimsuit (or in one at all!) and having it be a dream served that purpose, and Miroku was really the only one I could justifiably draw HAVING that dream. So that's what that's about. Sorry, Miroku! haha!

So whether or not I end up entering the contest, I spent AGES on this so it at least deserved to be uploaded.

Media: drawn with pencil, inked in Manga Studio, colour and effects in Photoshop.

And I always forget the disclaimer! I don't own the characters, they are property of Rumiko Takahashi. I merely pay tribute.

well just from glancing at it i know you should enter this! The contumes are really great and creative! >w< the poses you drew sango and kagome in are also great, they look difficult to draw, but you did really really awesome! Inuyasha looks so dense here, hehe, and i love miroku's expression - so like him!! I love the way you do wood as well, the tree looks really nice!

It makes me so happy to hear compliments on the poses because, especially with Sango's, I hadn't tried anything like that successfully before but I really wanted it so I had to try my best to get it right! And the compliment on the wood made me go all smily too because that's another thing I've been experimenting with for ages trying to get right!

Thanks for that! I picked some poses I wouldn't ordinarily try and I did swear after doing "Kirara's Been Busy" that I wouldn't do such complicated pics again, but the idea just called out to me.

I did enter, but I'm up against some *really* good art this time around! Now I've got the fanart-contest bug though so I've already made my July entry! Just making the entries is fun in itself! ^_^

Heehee! That is so cute. I love the outfits-turned-swimsuits; I don't think I would have been creative enough to come up with the swimsuit versions but you managed to do it perfectly. I say submit this-what have you got to lose? Heheh, and I love the blushing Miroku.

Thanks for that...I had such fun coming up with the swimsuits and the poses to go with. And drawing Miroku was so fun...even if I was worried it was a bit too cliche for his character!

Thanks! I have to admit, I had fun coming up with the swimsuit designs. I was really disappointed not to get to show more of Sango's...but it IS Miroku's dream after all, and he does like the rear view... XD
