Description
6/22/10 EDIT: Changed the abilities. The Fire Bull Pokemon
240 - MOTAUR (Moo+Taurus [Bull in Greek])
- Fire
- Fire Calf Pokemon
- Height: 2'6"
- Ability: Flash Fire
- Evolves into CRETAUR @ lvl. 30
- "Although this Pokemon's body temperature can reach up to 1000 degrees Celsius, it is actually friendly and amicable. It is commonly raised in large groups as livestock, guarded by several CRETAUR, and it is widely regarded as a food source in the rural habitat."
126 - CRETAUR (Cretan+Taurus)
- Fire/Steel
- Bronze Bull Pokemon
- Height: 5'7"
- Ability: Flash Fire/Weatherproof - Water, Ice, Grass, and Electric attacks do no damage.
- Evolves from MOTAUR @ lvl. 30
- Evolves into COLCITAUR w. Fire Stone
- "CRETAUR's body is covered in all sorts of precious metals: bronze, silver, iron, gold. Its stomach serves as a storage chamber for searing flames that it can spew at its enemies when threatened. It is highly aggressive, charging at anything that moves with the speed and power of a truck, but despite this it is still bred by farmers as a work animal and livestock, and its meat is one of the most widely exported products of the Gaenn region."
467 - COLCITAUR (Colchis+Taurus)
- Fire/Steel
- Artillery Pokemon
- Height: 10'4"
- Ability: Flash Fire/Weatherproof
- Evolves from CRETAUR w. Fire Stone
- "When COLCITAUR becomes angry, the grates on its snout and legs blaze with white-hot fire. Its body is covered with a special metal that is beautiful but incredibly strong, and its spear-like horns are made of a reinforced alloy that can punch through concrete. It lives in the depths of the Himaya volcanoes, where the heat is too much for other Pokemon to bear, and can immerse itself in molten lava with no problem. The cannons on its back and shoulders can fire incredibly powerful fireballs and metal projectiles, and with a proper aim it can destroy a freight train without even charging."
Based on the Cretan Bull from the Twelve Labors of Hercules, and the Colchis Bulls from the Argonautica, hope you like it

Motaur could use some cleaning, and possibly a little more muscle definition.
Cretaur has a bothersome speck on its head.
Colcitaur has some interconnecting (accidental) lines.
Motaur: Seeing as its evolutions reference furnaces, it is feasible that it would have a sturdier, more boldly-shaped and blocky physique than other organic PokΓ©mon. Its tail flame and flame color is nice and neat.
Creataur is proportioned perfectly, and despite its inorganic plating has a lively posture and definition. Its furnace-snout is also an interesting, appealing touch.
Colcitaur's muzzle---since a line of a mouth is indiscernible---looks inorganic and thus jarringly unfeasible, making it resemble the bull-like combine tractor in the Cars movie. Although its cannons are incorporated and shaped nicely, for all the parts it has, it looks like some sort of partially bull-like vehicle. Although not necessarily a bad thing, it also reminds me of space ships.

How is the meat from Cretaur acquired if it is covered with hard, seemingly-difficult-to-peel-off metals?

Wow, thanks for the critique. I'm not as proud as to how these guys turned out as I am with several others, but
I'm proudest of Colcitaur, he looks so menacing, but yeah he does look like a bull vehicle of some sort. Must be the basis on the Percy Jackson version, as they are automatons rather than actual animals. As for Cretaur, now that you mention it, I do see a speck on his head. I'll probably fix that later.
Oh yeah, and about the meat issue. I guess the metals are part of some kind of bony armor, like that of Ankylosaurus and other tank dinosaurs. You're right, it is difficult to peel off, but it is possible, and worth the effort too - you should taste the meat sometime, it's even better because it's been cooked twice.
I guess I should also mention that the metals are also sent to the factories as recyclable scrap. So that means Cretaur, and Colcitaur too, are essentially my region's livestock, like Miltank in Johto.
Spoiler Alert: Colcitaur will be part of my Fire-type Gym Leader's team, along with Colamassu, Tankannon, and Boarbecue.

yeah....u should make your own personal style... darksilvania makes enough fakemon for us to see that style, draw in ur way, not his. But if its best for u, just remember that people will always refer to ur drawings as "DarkSilvania's" style.

I try to draw in my way as much as I can. It's difficult, but I know it's worth it.
