Description And here's the Nether version of the Komodo Dragon mob . I made this one myself, by the way - Basilisks have been suggested at least once, but as variants on an existing mob like some legends say? Hmmm...

**********
Basilisk
Alignment: Hostile
Health: 16 (8x )
Damage: Wither Bite - 2 HP+1 sec. Wither (easy), 3 HP+3 sec. Wither (normal), 4 HP+5 sec. Wither (hard)*
Spawn: Nether (on any Netherrack with darkness level below 7)
Drops: 1-2 Reptile Skin, 0-1 Basilisk Eye (if killed by player)
Experience: 10

Think the Komodo Dragon is vicious? Well, you haven't met its nastier and even more lethal cousin, the Basilisk. These six-legged horrors spawn only in the Nether - and just as well, because they can kill an underprepared player very quickly. A Basilisk can be distinguished from normal giant lizards by its posession of six legs instead of four, as well as its brightly colored back fins and the vivid blue lining of its mouth which warn of its dangerous nature. Like other hostile mobs, it automatically turns to face you when provoked, and though the rumors that its gaze alone can kill you instantly are more hyperbole than anything else, looking at it (hovering over it with the cursor) will nonetheless inflict the Slowness status effect, meaning you'll have little choice but to fend it off as it charges you. Worse, its bite causes the Wither status ailment instead of poisoning, allowing it to kill you within mere seconds. Well, where did you think those death-glare rumors came from?
Like all Nether mobs, the Basilisk is immune to fire and lava, and isn't damaged by daylight either. Like the Komodo Dragon, the Basilisk is a meat-lover and will switch its attention to any meat you toss aside (even Rotten Flesh), allowing you to make a quick escape if you don't want to face it. Basilisks will also devour Zombie Pigmen, but never when there's more than three within a 50-block radius - unlike with other mobs, all the Pigmen in the surrounding area will converge on the offending Basilisk. A skilled enough player can even use this fact to their advantage by running through a large group of Pigmen, goading the beast into hitting one by mistake and watching the lizard itself get curb-stomped by the pigs instead of vice versa. Be warned, however, that this strategy is incredibly risky, and a single step in the wrong direction has led to the grisly demise of more than one unfortunate explorer.

*NOTE: Like Zombies, Basilisks inflict increased damage when their health decreases. Damage increases by 1 HP+1 sec. Wither for every 5 HP lost on all modes except Hard mode, where it increases by 2 HP+1 sec. Wither for every 5 HP lost.

Sadly this is a suggestion, not an actual addition. I'm hoping to become part of a mod team so these mobs can be implemented, though, so just keep an eye out
