Description
Continuing with the prehistoric batch, here's some new fakes. That's right, everyone, I've acquired some NEW fossils!Revived from the Blade Fossil.
345 - ACHEULINT (Acheulean+Flint)
- Rock/Steel
- Stone Tool PokΓ©mon
- 3'/60 lbs
- Ability: Hyper Cutter (Rock Head)
DAY: This ancient Rock-type was made of rocks rich in metal. It sharpened its head-blade on rocks and trees.
NIGHT: An ancestor to modern Rock-types, it defended itself using the knife-like growth on its head.
346 - LEVALLORE (Levallois+Ore)
- Rock/Steel
- Evolves from ACHEULINT at lv 40
- Stone Tool PokΓ©mon
- 6'7"/250 lbs
- Ability: Hyper Cutter (Rock Head)
DAY: To keep its edges pristine between fights, it would strike its body on rocks and break off worn-down pieces. Some of the pieces were thought to have developed into new ACHEULINT.
NIGHT: It is thought to have grown from metal-rich ores deep within prehistoric caverns. Scientists believe prehistoric tribes learned to create the first tools by observing this Pokemon.
MOVEPOOL:
Start: Tackle, Scratch, Rock Slide
Level-Up: Headbutt, Rock Polish, Harden, Sand Attack, Cut, Rock Tomb, Sandstorm, Stealth Rock, Iron Defense, Slash, Stone Edge; Rock Smash, Smack Down, Iron Head, Power Gem, Mud-Slap, Strength, Night Slash, Bullet Punch
Notable HM/TM: Protect, Giga Impact, Flash Cannon, Metal Sound
I have had this idea for a long time, it took me a while to get it right but I LOVE how it turned out in the end. See, lots of people turn to prehistoric animals/plants when making fossil Pokemon, including myself. Since I've taken a few archaeology courses in the past, I decided to break that tradition. The class I was in that inspired this was about history of engineering and they were discussing stone tools. I thought about how some Pokemon inspired technology, and it hit me - Pokemon could have inspired the very first developments in that field! So there you go.
Hope you like it, the other one will be coming soon
