Me and my friends are getting ready for BanzaiCon in two weeks. We're going as Fullmetal Alchemist characters. And as you can see my friend is going to be Ed. This is just the work in progress of the automail. I still have to make the transmuted blade that can be substituted in the place of the forearm piece. Then I can start the painting process.I follow this tutorial as closely as I could given time constraints : [link] .

I hadn't painted it yet. Me and buddy(whose wearing it) were so excited that it got finished and turned out so well, we had to take a picture immediately and share with you guys. It's silver now.

Craft foam and my substitute for styrene: cheap plastic cutting boards from walmart. I just followed amethyst angel's tutorial (link in artist comments) as best as I could.
