I'm not sure where the picture of the elf and the drow came from, but I loved it when someone gave it to me awhile back, and just now decided to do something with it. I have one that has words on it, but that one is hideous so I'm going to forget I even made the second one.Edit: Someone told me who made the picture of the elf woman and the drow man (thank you again!). Since I know how much it sucks for someone to steal artwork, here's the link to the original picture by Silent-dream!

You should be careful about uploading someone else's work unless you've permission by the original artist.

As I had said in my comment, I had no idea where the picture had come from so I didn't know I was stealing someone's picture. For all I knew, it was from some unknown anime and I had no way of finding out. Plus, my friend who had given me the link to the picture had given me a link from Photobucket, so I hadn't a clue it came from a user on DA. When I put the link up, there was an account attached to it and it went right through. I had double checked when I put the link up, if the user has cancelled there account, it's not any fault of mine.

If you did not do it and you upload it, that is still considered theft. Just because you don't -know- who did it doesn't change anything. And it doesn't matter if the original artist is dead. You don't get to just use their things because you can't find them. It's not yours. Additionally, if you upload pictures from 'some anime' the same rules apply. That is someone else's work. Not yours.

Im glad she did upload it, I love this picture and so do 603 other people. She's not getting any benifit from it and she said its someone elses anyway so shes not taking credit from it

I love this picture too. The aesthetic value of it has nothing to do with permission or ownership. Deviant Art grants copyright to everything you upload. So when you do so for work that is not your own, you're still claiming it as such.

I really like it! But I'm confused--aren't drow supposed to be smaller than common elves? And aren't drow males supposed to be smaller than drow females, to boot? Oh well, I still rather like it.
