So, we finally have someone who has some ties to the darkness in WoodlandsOfTheBrave! What is her story? We will know soon! She is based on the Boquila Vine- one of the COOLEST vines I have ever seen!

The boquila vine is a shapeshifitng vine, so to speak. Thus, you can probably guess what Boquila's special trait is XD

Full name: Boquila (and companion keese, Lavern)

Gender: Gender neutral (prefers to be called female. She has unique orchid flowers, making her have an assortment of male flowers and female flowers)

Age: 23

Race: Deku Scrub (More monster class)

Species/subspecies: Tunnel Scrub/Part… Some other thing

Height/weight: 3’09” / 54 lbs

Moral standing: Chaotic Neutral

Personality:

Boquila has a monotone personality with people she cares little for. She is goal-driven and won’t sit in one place for long unless it is to get a job done. She’s an excellent liar however and can lie her way right out of your hands. She remains a closed book most of the time and doesn’t trust many. However those she likes will see she has more color to her personality than she gives off. Is very sarcastic, cynical, and has a morbid sense of humor sometimes. She is also not shy of flirting with a person she may have an interest toward- she finds humor in finding out quickly whether they’re fine with it or not. She can be bluntly honest sometimes.

She has no trouble being aggressive… If it comes down to it, she would not be afraid of harming someone.
She has a fondness for small monsters, hence why she owns a keese and even named it. Lavern is a trusted companion who acts as her eyes in places she can't.

Recent past:

Boquila’s appearance around the woods is seldom seen. She tends to wander the woods. And when she is seen, she is always just a little different… She tends to sneak around for unknown reasons. She hasn’t been here long, but even Ayame and Alo are unknowing of her presence. This illusive scrub tends to stay out of sight nearly every time- even when she’s right out in the open! Using her useful ability to “blend in” to her surroundings, not many know of her.

Boquila seems to act under a higher authority when she DOES go out-and-about, but it is unknown of what. Even more-so, it is unknown why she has moved to the northern woods in the first place…

Skills/talents: Can change the pigments of her skin so her skin can change color and tone (natural colors though- so no neon stuff. Her skin is NOT wood! It is like the skin of a vine) / Can manipulate the shape of her skin slightly enough to make herself look male or female. When paired with a skin-tone change and a change in the style of her hair, this makes her hard to recognize at a glance- making her great at going incognito.

Weapon(s)/tool(s): A thick, thorned vine / arm strength and leg strength / deku bubbles.

Likes: Getting her way / crafty people / a challenge / watching a little chaos / a good nap / fluffy or tiny monsters (give her a remlit and she’s gone) / trying new things / a secret affinity for dirt and tunnels… Darn those genes.

Dislikes: Idiots / people who get in her way / those who see through her disguises / people who hold WAY too much honor and pride (finds it obnoxious) / Things not going her way / bright tropical colors everywhere (makes it hard to blend in).

Fears: Failure and rejection (from whom…? Who she may be working under perhaps…?) / fire (INCREDIBLY flammable!) / Ayame and Ickurus.

Weaknesses: Has no real weapons, so has a harder time fighting up-close / fire / acid (weaker skin than typical deku) / being caught by surprise / catching her in the middle of a physical shift, since the process is slow and draining.

Resistances: Insults / cold and hot weather (is adaptive) / TBA

Strengths: Long reach with vine / her ability to lie her way out of a situation / strength from her tunnel scrub side / being able to disguise herself.

- Present for "Dawn of a new Year! Mystery rises in the Woods!" Part 1. Her presence was unknown...

- Present for "Dawn of a new Year! Mystery rises in the Woods!" Part 2. She organized the wolfos ambush on Fauna Village and went in disguise of a guard newbie. Her lies were believable until Nor the acid spitter caught her in the act of stealing one of Ayame's hidden spell books. No one knows her true identity and continues to look for her facade name, "Elmund", a male guard. "Elmund" escaped with a target on his head and Ayame's spell book in hand. This spell book contained information on relics of the myth, the "Elemental Charms". Her reasoning for stealing this book is unknown... She is not worried in the slightest of being caught either, because as far as she's concerned, Elmund is a ghost and never existed.

PERSONAL CONNECTIONS AND RELATIONS

- The Monster King dude...
- Bay, a biodeku that lives in the northern woods. She's met with him personally and used his wolfos to organize the Fauna ambush. While she doesn't know him TOO well, she's interested in him for his deceitful gift and wicked ways of getting what he wants. This impresses her. She honestly would not mind being a bit closer with the fella... For business, of course......... Having some close "Allies" never hurt anything.
- Kenji, a traveling high-magic class keaton... He is an ally and works under the monster king with her. However, the two don't have the same goals, and Boquila has a way of irritating the crap out of Kenji.
- Alo and Aster, a couple that live outside of Fauna Village. Boquila has "seen" Aster doing his regular business, and unknown to Aster, she has bought things off of him in disguise. As for Alo, Boquila has evaded Alo's detection many, many times. Boquila knows a bit about Alo, but Alo knows NOTHING of Boquila. Boquila thinks nothing of the couple, though does get irked by Alo to a degree, given how well she guards the woods.
- Rena and Nor, a local acid spitter pair. She doesn't think much of Rena, but has found herself growing irked by Nor. This male acid spitter is always keen on knowing when something isn't right it seems. It was Nor who also blew her cover when she attacked Fauna Village. This left a bad taste in her mouth- metaphorically.
- Will Ironwood, the Fauna Village blacksmith. This ironwood deku baffles Boquila... How is he so heavy!? He also caused some delay for Boquila's plans in her ambush. She won't be taking direction from him again on a rushed day...
