That is still one of my faves of the Pokemon films. X3
I tried to make them more realistic. When you look at it, the Pokemon world is a freakin' scary place! XD And parents actualy let there 10 year old kids leave their home for who knows how long to go on a journey to look for creatures as weak as a Caterpie to something as monstrious and deadly as Lugia!
I was going to add BG, but my mom, dad and sister said it looked better with blank BG.
*EDIT* If you don't like the muscles, that's fine. But I like him the way he is. It's just me adding my own style to this. I'd like to think of Lugia being a large Wyvern (or bird... dragon thing. XP) than a fat cartoony creature when I look at it realisticly, now I DO like his design in the anime and game, but I'm just exploring further styles in realism.
Also: He does have feathers. But I've always seen him having slick skin in places. So if you don't like my style of Lugia, don't comment if you're going to say something about it. This isn't aimed at anyone, but I don't want anymore comments relating to his muscles and my style, not if it's about how weird it looks...

no not really I figured out we were both a little wrong and a little not ill explain.
it says lugia does have feather on his body, but they help him swim much to that of a penguin.
He also does not have muscles but body fat too show he is a sea monsters that eats other pokemon.
So we both we're a little right a little wrong.

Lugia does have Wyvern qualities so Kassi's interpretation is reasonable. Even if it is labeled a bird, it's appearance resembles a Wyvern. Once again, it's her interpretation. If you don't like, don't say anything about it. It's not difficult not saying anything. lD

lol I was just trying to show you what kind of idiots I mean, some muscles looks good on a short variety of art. but for the most part I hate muscle type art mostly with creatures with fur/feathers.

Yes, I understand what you mean. Some things look good, while others don't. Yet, I repeat myself, try to retrain from making such comments if it's not to your liking. You're not going to like every picture Kassi produces, so when that one comes along, just look past it and enjoy the other art in her gallery that you do like.

Eh don't even talk like that it reminds me of a former person that I do not want to talk about, I know all that I just try to get her to change her thinking if you know what I mean. I've seen some people ask for opinions if they should keep drawing them like this or change it, and sometimes even when they don't ask for opinions the comments could change the way the artist draws in the future.

I like the picture but I do agree here regarding the huge muscles. Lugia has feathers, not skin.
The feet are pretty cool though. And the other birds look cool

I was "thinking" of making him more real. WHen you think of it, they wouldn't probably make Lugia have a fat gut and bubbly legs if he was to appear in one of those heavy serious anime's (like Wolf's Rain or Monster), or if he was to even be in a Live action film, they would make him as real as possible.
They make him fat and bubbly to make his design more kid-friendly, and less frightening. But I'm just exploring further possibilities on Pokemon Realism.
